Hello,

I've just checked the goods in and can't find anything for me so looks like it's not arrived yet. Should it have?

I got the module today thanks for that.

I'll have a go and see if I can make it play nicely.

Hello,

I've spent a significant amount of time investigating this devie today to see if I can make it work nicely.

No matter what I do the sign bit of the ADC conversion is a 1 and so I always get a negative output value.

I'll park it for a bit and come back to it next time I have some free time and see if I can move it on at all.

Hi Ben.

Sorry if I am wrong(did not check the datasheet) however the Ti 16 and 24bit ADC's) the results are in the 2's compliment and need to be converted to get the correct value may it is something similar in the microchip 24 bit ADC

Hi p.erasmus
Here is the data sheet
From here on it gets interesting ! 5.6 ADC Output Data Format
It would be nice if you could manage that.

Hi.

Thank you for the datasheet as I expected it does support various dataformats and it seems in 24bit mode it is 2's compliment format.
however to really move and convert the adc values to real world values you need a device to test on which I do not have , I am confident that Ben will solve this issue it does require some extensive development time .

We did some components for these High Resolution ADC's and we know the time it takes to develop them and we realized that people refuse to pay 4.5 pounds :o for such a component so we stopped the develop such complex components.

Hope this will get sorted shortly

Hello

I have downloaded the following file from Mikroe Libstock.
it contains routines/drivers for this chip.
It might be quite helpful.
