Hi
I am using on off indicator
If you use the default round type it works fine when you run sim
However if you select square it causes flow code to freeze when you run sim
error message is
"An operation is taking a long time to complete would you like to terminate
component OnOFFindicator 1 YES / NO
Flow code is totally frozen and only way to get out is to go into task manager
and end task
Then if you reload program again and same thing happens again
Best Regards
David

Re: on off indicator problem in APP builder
H Martin
Thanks for quick update
I notice it was reported in 2020 and still not working ?
So if you are not going to get it fixed soon suggest you soon at least remove that option as it currently causes confusion and wastes time
And i will know only to plan to use the round option
But more importantly
I notice that whilst you can select multiple components together ie switches to allow you to lock together this does
not work for on off indicator even on round mode you can only select one at a time
Can you look at this select issue as need this functionality for my latest program

Re: on off indicator problem in APP builder
Hi David,
This issue was first reported at the beginning of this month. Maybe you saw the "join date" of the user who reported it, which is 2020.
We do have a fix in the works, but this needs a new installation of the main Flowcode exe. Hopefully this will be ready soon.

Re: on off indicator problem in APP builder
I'm looking into why it cannot be selected using "rubber banding" (i.e. dragging to select multiple objects). It's very strange - Flowcode thinks the components are far to the left/right/up/down depending on the 'placement' setting for the label.
You can select multiple objects if you click them while holding shift down.

Re: on off indicator problem in APP builder
(oops - I meant "holding shift down" rather than "holding the mouse down". Now corrected!)
