ESP supported in Flowcode ?

Post by lucibel »

Dear all,
1- One of our company located in Hong Kong is doing projects including injection mold, SMT, etc.., and sourcing for PCB, LED, COB, components, etc... for our customers in Europe Asia and middle east.
We are also making project from A to Z for our customers and Start-Up companies.

Many of our customers want to start new project with ESP but as you know, there is many shortage and long lead time so it's very difficult to choose an MCU at be beginning of a project, to get price and to be sure that it will be still available for mass production.
Could you tell me if these ESP are (fully, partially or not) supported in Flowcode.

ESP32-S2FH2
ESP32-S2FH4
ESP32-S2FN4R2
ESP32-D0WD-V3
ESP32-U4WDH
ESP32-PICO-V3
ESP32-PICO-V3-02
ESP32-PICO-D4
ESP32-S3FN8
ESP32-S3FH4R2
ESP32-S2
ESP8285H16
ESP8285N08

2-Do you have a date :
When touch sensor can be supported on ESP ?
When ESP32 Mesh can be supported on ESP ?

3- Last Friday I posted a question and still no answer
viewtopic.php?p=3010#p3010

Thx for your prompt answer. 8-)

Hi Seb,

As far as I am aware we have only officially tested with the original ESP32 device.

Other ESP32 devices may work as is, others may require a newer version of the toolchain.

That is a big list and is certainly more then I was aware of. That's one of the problems with Chinese hardware they tend to keep reinventing the wheel. It wouldn't suprise me if half of those devices are either not available in 6 months or even not available now.

If there are some key targets you're interested in then we can try and get hold of some and do some testing and development.

As for touch do you mean capacitive touch using the ADC peripheral? This might be fairly easy to get working.

As for mesh it's not something I've had time to dig into though would certainly be nice to have and is on the list for investigation.

Dear Ben,

About ESP MCU target, I will tell you soon which one we want to use.
 Espressif has really less Variants MCU and P/N (around 40) https://espressif.com/en/products/socsthan Microchip (thousands or millions of P/N and variants) . ;)

Yes, capacitive Touch, happy to know that this can be done soon
https://docs.espressif.com/projects/esp ... h_pad.html

About Mesh, what is your investigation plan?

Waiting news beginning of next week for
Registers and value used in the VL53L0X1 component
Many register need to be added in the component properties and macro.

Thx
Seb
