Hi
When you download v10 you will need to register (which I'm sure you already have). Then you can simply buy the chip packs that you need. When you purchase, the license(s) should automatically link to your account and when you next start FC it will unlock whatever you have purchased. You will need internet during this but after you have registered / bought / "unlocked" you don't need the internet.
Occasionally I read of a glitch when associating chip packs with licences, but Matrix staff sort this out very quickly.
I have to say three weeks away from everything sounds ideal <s>
