PS - I'd be very interested to see how you got the 'News' component to work - since I couldn't see how to use it at all!

Working perfectly as far as I can see, you're all geniuses or is it genii.
I'm just using the generic I2c backpack LCD it did not seem to have the clear line bug

I think I got it to work by pure chance, it would not work using the esp8266 in hardware but seem the work ok in simulation.
The Lolin D32 worked ok though, I notice the wiki page said to use the same ip address that the weather component uses but that
did not work but I tried the ip from feeds.bbci.co.uk and that worked. 23.4.209.147

I can't figure out how to attach my file it won't drop in and due to the .fcfx ending windows won't let me select it.
