Hi,
I upgraded our pro FC package and the required tool chains. I noted something called 'Pro Support' but have not seen anything describing what this is or covers? Just interested, the forum support is excellent but always nice to know what the extra £150 bought.

The "professional" licence of Flowcode is essential if you are making commercial products or using Flowcode in a commercial environment. So its importance is more than the notion of priority support.
But we also want to 'go the extra mile' in supporting 'professional' users. Our initial plan was to have a professional-only support section where we could give priority support, but we've realised this will not work in practice and we do not want to dilute support to other users. Pro users will be part of a different group in the forum so we can identify them and give 'better' support, but defining what "better" means and what types of support should be reserved for professional users is difficult.
Coincidentally, we started an internal discussion how to deliver better support to professional users last week and we have reached some conclusions, which I will post here once they are approved - hopefully by the end of the week.

Great info, thanks Steve.
Whilst I dont commericalise lots of our projects, certainly there are situations when I have to hit a clients deadline and prompt support from all (matrix and Users) who contribute to the forum is very much appreciated.
Certainly keeping the knowledge as widly available as possible is a definate bonus for all users.
I know matrix have offered engineering services for some time but something in-between where a specific item could be resolved for a small fee, not to deminish the excellent free forum support of couse!

but if a customer really wants to expidate the implementation of a feature, as least I could get a price on such a feature. the dreaded LIN 2.0 was a thing a few months back until we fouund a solution for our customer.

Hi FC Team,
How did the pro support situation end up. Are all posts placed in the general forum area? Thanks, J.

Yes - there is no separate 'pro' area. But we do prioritise answering posts from 'pro' users where we can.
