d-a dac pins

Looking at using an external DAC , preferably the MCP48x1 o2 49x1 as they are available to buy easily. Problem is these 2 devices in flowcode do not have the remap pin option that the 4725 and 47x6 or port change which the AD5662 has. Is there a reason for this or can editable pins be added.
Also, just out of interest most of the pic micros have dedicated spi pins, normally RB6 & RB7, why is it that the flowcode parts use other ports?

Hi, Maverick.
Thank you for the spot.
I have fixed the remapping issue, and the componets will be pushed onto the update system as soon as possible.
If you would like to try the components before the updates are pushed.
Browse to this location using file explorer, it's hidden by default so just paste the link into your address bar.

Code: Select all

C:\ProgramData\MatrixTSL\FlowcodeV9\Components
Replace the existing file with the attached files.
If Flowcode is already open, then you will need to reload your project for the new components to work
If you run any component updates, then the components you added will be overwritten, so you will need to bare that in mind.

Hi, yes that is on the list to be done.
Rather than in dribs and drabs, I have decided to fix all components that have the same issue.
They will be all pushed on the update system at the same time.
