There's a circuit in this month's PE (practical electronics) magazine. If uses a mcp1501t chip as a 3.3v precision reference.

The current (June) issue doesn't seem to be available yet.

Hi

Following on from Martin, there is unnecessary confusion by the publisher as subscriptions are available from Pocketmags

https://pocketmags.com/everyday-practic ... s-magazine

Do be careful regarding which issue you buy as they are a month "ahead". By that I mean in early June I received the July issue. Previews aren't too informative so be sure of your issue.

Whilst I subscribe, I'm a bit behind in my reading but I've had a quick look through the current issue (July 2023) and in the Multimeter checker/calibrator project it does describe a stable 3.3v circuit as Martin mentioned.

Hope this helps.

HI,

The TL431L is a nice little programable reference

I posted an example the uses it here (2.5 Volts) , Please see amendment further down the post with the red block around it
When i drew that i hadn't had have enough coffee

There are quite a few calculators online for this also
Google " TL431 calculator "

Please be aware Precision references take time to stabilise, some cases this can be 20 Minutes

Hope this helps
