Since AI is taking over everything these days.
Any consideration of incorporating AI into the next version of FlowCode to stay competitive or revelent?
Proteus software is damn near obsolete now that there's a site that's completely AI driven to take a schematic and turn it into a circuit board shipped to your door step.
You simply add a few physical parameters and wala it designs your circuit board for you.

Perhaps AI created your post as I believe a human would use the term "voila" instead of the Hindi suffix...

Hello,
Having AI help with projects and component libraries is already possible, the flowcode projects are stored in XML format which is perfectly compatible with AI coding agents. You can also include external C and H files which again is a piece of cake for an AI agent.
There is also a bit of a benefit of not having AI built into the product in that it becomes harder for students to cheat in an educational context. Question is will students want to learn to program at all in 5 years time or will it become a lost artform.
As for being relevant and competitive, personally I've never got very far with jumping on the bandwagon, better to come up with your own novel solution then to simply do what everyone else is doing simply because everyone is doing it.

You mentioned Proteus, their latest version also has AI. I've tried to use their latest version and for me it's very much lacking in terms of usability. I'd be interested to see what an AI PCB tool can do and if it takes things into consideration like EMC.
It's still fairly early days for AI and it certainly will be interesting what happens. We are considering what to do going forward but if you have any specific suggestions on what you would like to see us do with Flowcode then we are very much open to suggestions. My theory is the tech companies will get everyone using as much as possible so we can't live without it and then massively jack up the price. I'm pretty synical about these things but also very wary.
