Pin assignment overview

It would be great if FC showed the pins already occupied by an interface and the possible pins in the chip view, e.g. colour coded. This would make it easier to keep track of the pins and prevent them from being assigned incorrectly. RS232 channel 1 red, pins in red the occupied ones and red/grey the possible ones.
Colour selection under the properties.

Thanks for the suggestion, SpeedPIC32.

The chip view colour codes the pins to show the state of the pin (red is high, grey is low). Also, there is a small line next to each pin in the chip view that is connected to a component. If you hover over the pin, you will see which component is connected.

I will add your request to our list and see what we can do to improve it in v10.
