Re: EB-006-00-9 Driver issue
I went to install a demo for the latest version of flowcode to try it out, but I was met with a screen telling me I needed to enter my activation code to be allowed to continue. an interesting situation.

Re: EB-006-00-9 Driver issue
We will shortly be releasing a Flowcode update which aims to tackle all these stability issues along with other things. That sounds good. Sorry again if I've been inactive, I went to turn my computer on on the 1st of august to find the hard drive was dead. I lost a heap of things. It's also some co...

Re: EB-006-00-9 Driver issue
I have to say that there is a lot of work to do on these new versions to get it stable :? Don't give up please  I don't want to sound rude, but I have to agree. in my personal opinion, it should have been far more stable than it is even now before making the V8 discontinued. Fortunately, I'm ...

Re: EB-006-00-9 Driver issue
I've tried programming my chip with the 2s delay version, I couldn't get it to program once.
the only one I seem to have any luck with is the one that doesn't turn off the charge pump.

Re: EB-006-00-9 Driver issue
Something odd. My board was working with the latest mLoader software. Since yesterday just keep getting: File loaded from... => EEpromTest1.hex File sending! ...................................................... File sent with 1 warnings: 1: Flash memory not verified - may be due to code protect Y...

Re: EB-006-00-9 Driver issue
A couple of questions first... 1. There's an update bootloader button in mLoader, I assumed that was to update the firmware, if it isn't, what does that do? 2. what would be involved in re-flashing the board myself? (I don't think I have the equipement to do it myself, I'm just curious) 3. What if s...

Re: EB-006-00-9 Driver issue
Okay, I've tested it. it gives me the "Unknown chip type in data file" error every single time I tried it, which apears to be a step backwards. I'm starting to think it throws up this error even if that isn't the actual problem, since it doesn't matter what chip is in the data file, I'm te...

Re: EB-006-00-9 Driver issue
Looks like we may be able to switch off the charge pump using mLoader and only bring it back on when programming. This means that if you power up the board the charge pump will be active but after using Flowcode/mLoader to program it will be disabled leaving the cap free to sit at a much more pleas...

Re: EB-006-00-9 Driver issue
Do you know that when the CPC is idle there is a voltage of 37V over C18 ? ... C18 is on my board warm... Mine is the same, I just measured. Considering this is a 25V rated capacitor, this is a problem that should be addressed, even if at the very least the capacitor is replaced with a 35V or 50V a...

Re: EB-006-00-9 Driver issue
Okay, double post I know, but... my other post was long enough. Tried the XP drivers. I had too force it to use them as with the previous version, however, this time, they worked! Thanks ben! I then proceeded to use the latest mLoader (which I had been using anyway, but I re-downloaded it again just...

Re: EB-006-00-9 Driver issue
Firstly, Thankyou Ben for looking at XP drivers again, I'll take a look into it at some point soon. (I've been busy this week, and havn't had the chance to do much with my EBlocks board.) Secondly, Given the way the 78 and 79 series of regulators work, they drop a minimum of about 3V to produce the ...

Re: EB-006-00-9 Driver issue
I don't have any 88 or 628. I do have some 877, an 877A and 887, and some 883s, plus the 1937 that came with the EB006V9. That's my entire selection.
Also, those that you linked are the same versions of the files I'm already using.

Re: EB-006-00-9 Driver issue
2 points. 1. I can't seem to find the latest version of mLoader, I'm still stuck with the version that gives the errors most people are saying are solved. on top of that, I downloaded and installed a demo of the latest Flowcode, just so I could try the mLoader component of it, and get the same issue...

Re: Has anyone got the new EB006V9 to work yet?
Since I don't own flowcode, I have only been testing things in mLoader. Fairly sure my issues are due to mLoader having a few wrinkles to iron out. As also stated though, I'm not allowed to buy anything untill August, so... we have that long to get things working before the descission to buy EBlocks...

Re: EB-006-00-9 Driver issue
I'm not at work for the next couple of weeks, so I can't test anything right now, but all these later tests (with debug info posted at the bottom of page 1 of this topic) were done on a fresh copy of windows 7 (as installed by a guy from IT services), I then personally installed MPLab V8.92, mLoader...

Re: Has anyone got the new EB006V9 to work yet?
We currently only have the 1, it was something I ordered in to try and get it set up on our system, before buying the whole batch, which has been put off, due to budgetting... Anyway, it's hard to tell if it's a problem with the device, or the software, because the device is detected, and drivers in...

Has anyone got the new EB006V9 to work yet?
It's been nearly 2 months now since a delivery man handed me my new EB006-00-9 (EB006v9) EBlocks programmer board, and dispite the support efforts of Benj and DavidA, I'm still unable to use it. I was wondering if anyone else has had a better experience with it so far? In all fairness, you can expec...
Re: Enquiry
Anyway, I thank you for your efforts. I just need David poking to look at mLoader again, It still doesn't work for me.
Re: Enquiry
Sorry about not replying on friday, I kind of went home from work. So I started looking at it first thing today when I got to work. After investigating the link you gave me, I found that there was no download link, and after trying to find a download for it, and failing, I went ahead and checked the...
Re: Enquiry
Nope, installing the latest versions of .Net didn't help.
Re: Enquiry
Hello, I wonder if the XP issue is a dot net type issue. Is the XP machine fully up to date with service packs and .net? I will try and dig out an XP machine so we can try and replicate the issue. It has been off-network since august, and even then I'm not sure how up to date it was. it is using Se...

Re: EB-006-00-9 Driver issue
I tried it in every port in the computer, except 1, because that port has my KVM switch with keyboard and mouse plugged into it. on some ports, the "Bad field entry in data file" error would often show up, on other ports, not at all. my guess is this is the error related to a USB hub? a fu...
