Re: V8 install issue on MAC
Hi Steve thanks for coming back to me. It didn't let me do anything with SCADA as I don't have the licences. If I open a template it works, if I try a different target with new project it has the same issue. I am currently trying to work with Raspberry Pi. Just tried this: open template, chose ardui...

V8 install issue on MAC
Hi All I am hoping someone may have had a similar problem and has a fix! (always hopeful!) I am trying to run V8 on Windows 7 Professional, on my MAC via parallels (latest version). When I click new project it goes back to the start page (actually duplicates the start page) but freezes. I have attac...

Re: I2C LCD on Crow Pi
Hi Martin I sent the 1 second flasher to both I2C pins G2 and G3 on the Pi and the status LED's are flashing as expected. The driver is an MCP23008 I don't know if there is anything odd about this that Flowcode is not catering for? http://ww1.microchip.com/downloads/en/DeviceDoc/MCP23008-MCP23S08-Da...

Re: I2C LCD on Crow Pi
Hi Apologies my post came across in the wrong way. This is a very good forum with many very experienced Flowcode users that are always offering great assistance. As no-one had answered my post (which is unusual) I assumed that people did not know the answer so I thought I would go back to BenJ. I al...

Re: I2C LCD on Crow Pi
Hi Ben
thanks for your reply. I have added a loop and set the channel to software. This give me the most hopeful result which is the two status LED's pulsing for the data and clock lines but nothing on the display still.

I2C LCD on Crow Pi
Hi All I am hoping one of you seasoned programmers can help. I have dabbled with Flowcode over a number of years, previously with PIC's. I recently purchased a raspberry PI development kit called Crow Pi (link below) I also purchased a new flowcode licence so I could try it with the Raspberry Pi. I ...

Sense hat on raspberry pi zero
Hi All I know I'm late coming to the party as far as raspberry PI is concerned but I am playing with a pi zero. I have had the compulsory LED blinking so I know it is working via flowcode. Today I took delivery of a sense hat. I believe I have installed the drivers, When I plug it in and power up th...

I am starting to play with e blocks again. I thought the simple program attached should just display the A/D input and therefore be a number between 0 and 255 on the glcd. However, when you increase the pot it gives the expected response but when you decrease it you get numbers above 255. I am not s...

Re: 9850 DDS Module
Hi Jim
your Obviously a radio amateur like myself. I will have a good look at this over the next week or two (half term will give me room to breath and do something for me!
Perhaps we can compare projects, although you are ahead of me so I do not have anything to give at the moment!
Thanks

Re: 9850 DDS Module
I have found a little more information. I need to send a serial word to program the DDS module. The value of the word will ultimately depend on input from a rotary encoder but to start with setting up a fixed frequency would be good. Can anyone help me understand how I can send the following hex cod...

9850 DDS Module
Hi I have just purchased an AD9850 DDS module and was after a kick start with programming it. Has anyone done any work with these and could share any info? Re: Arduino Programming In Flowcode v6
I have just taken delivery of Arduino uno. I have set up as per the instructions here. When I try to compile to chip it is saying I do not have a valid licence I am using flowcode SE. I thought I could program arduino as well as PIC, is that not the case?

Hi All I was wondering if someone may have a piece of code I could use. On Friday I am presenting to senior management at the college. This is for the new engineering build. I am specifying all the equipment and flowcode along with 10 formula flowcode buggies is on the list. I have created a simple ...

Problem with flowcode buggy
There seems to be something wrong with the formula flowcode buggy I have just received. Regardless of whether I use reverse or set motors macros, the motors do not run in reverse. I have also noted that when using spin left or right only one motor rotates. I did not build the buggy it arrived built....

Formula Flowcode issue.
First, Merry Christmas to all. One of my latest purchases is the formula flowed buggy. I am evaluating it for college purchase. I have written a simple program where is should just move around in a square. When I simulate it in flowcode on the dashboard panel it does what I would expect. However, in...

Still playing with the EBM001 module. After Bens help I now know how to set the background colour (I wasn't clearing the display. However, it does not seem to completely fill the screen (in the simulation). Is this a known issue or am I doing something wrong?
