I had FlowCode V7 installed on my computer, and my hard drive crashed. Is it still possible to download FlowCode V7 so I can reinstall, or do I need to purchase an upgrade?
Thank you

Re: A block of non-functioning I/Os on 24FJ256GB106
Found the problem = The 4 bits in question were used by the JTAG port, and Flowcode was enabling the JTAG debugger by default.

Re: A block of non-functioning I/Os on 24FJ256GB106
I thought I should at least be able to use those pins as discrete I/O pins.
Thanks

Re: Pullups/pulldowns on discrete inputs
I finally figured out how to enable a pull-down on I/O Pin B10 (CNPD28), but I am still not able to read the input. I have a hard 3.3V input on the pin, and I always read a zero. Anybody have any suggestions?

Re: A block of non-functioning I/Os on 24FJ256GB106
After doing a little more digging, I decided to look at the FCDX file for the PIC24FJ256GB106. I found something curious. The I/O descriptor lines for the PORT B I/O lines are as follows. You'll notice the absence of certain parameters for the descriptions of Pins B10, B11, B12 and B13 - the very 4 ...

A block of non-functioning I/Os on 24FJ256GB106
I have a board with serial EEPROM (SPI interface), that I can not get to work. I have attached a stripped down flowcode project that I am using for test. My problem is that on this PIC, I can't get I/O Pins B10, B11, B12, or B13 to work. In the project that I have attached, Pin B1, that I am using f...

Pullups/pulldowns on discrete inputs
How can I disable the pull-ups and pull-downs on a discrete input - i.e., I want to put the output logic into a tristate mode. Specifically, on pin B10 of a PIC24FJ256GB106. I am connected to a circuit that is extremely sensitive (and I can't get the board reworked at this stage of the game), and an...

Re: Problems reading discrete on PIC24FJ256GB106
This problem is persistent. I can write a program for MpLab, and it reads the B10 discrete without any problem. I try to read it in FlowCode, and I always get a logic low. I import the C code from my MpLab project, and it doesn't work (imported as a c code block). I want to use the FlowCode developm...

Problems reading discrete on PIC24FJ256GB106
I am using a pic 24FJ256GB106, and am experiencing problems reading a discrete input on pin 23 (RB10). No matter what level the input is, I always ready the pin as a logic low. I have attached a simplified test project that exhibits the problem for your review. And suggestions are welcome. Thank you...

Re: USB Serial on PIC24FJ256GB106
Ben:
I was wondering if you had a chance to look at the project file I uploaded. Due to restrictions that I have here at work, I can't provided schematics or the actual project that I am working on.
Sorry.
Thank you.

Values added to report output
I was thinking it would be nice, when you generate a report, if the sections that list the constants and variables had another column that showed the value of constants, and the initial values of variables. Otherwise I have found FlowCode 7 to be a pleasure to use (except for an issue with the USB S...

Re: USB Serial on PIC24FJ256GB106
Ben: I have uploaded a simple test program that just attempted to initialize the USB serial component, and if it succeeds, it starts flashing an LED at 5HZ (similar to your 1 second flasher program. If I disable the icon for the USB_Initialise, the LED does flash, and I have scoped it at a very prec...

Re: USB Serial on PIC24FJ256GB106
Ben: I hate to be a pest. But do you have a sample project that uses the USB on a PIC24? We still can't get our system to initialize the USB port-it hangs up the system (permanent wait), with the system connected to a host. We have the new USB serial driver installed on the PC host, but the host PC ...

That information helps a lot, however (I hope I'm not sounding like a total idiot), I can't remember how to bring up the display for the configuration settings. Can you please remind me how to get that back on the screen again?
Thank you

No, my PC doesn't recognize anything when I connect the two together. I did install the driver you provided, that didn't nake any difference.

Re: USB Serial on PIC24FJ256GB106
Benj: Still no luck - what should the processor speed be set to? I think I have it set to 20000000, or at least, that is what I tried to set it to. I have a stripped down program that demonstrates the failure; I'm going to try and upload it. However, there doesn't appear to be any device in windows ...

I tried the new files. Behaviour is the same as before. It locks up on the USB_Serial::Initialise call and won't go any further in te program.
Thank you for your support.

USB Serial on PIC24FJ256GB106
I am attempting to use the USB Serial component on a board with a MicroChip PIC24FJ256GB106, and am experiencing problems. Most notably, it hangs the CPU when I attempt to call USB_Serial::Initialise. I have also noticed when I build the project, I am getting a warning (error?) "Options have be...
