I have a programmer that is compatible with MPLAB, an Olimex PIC-MCP-USB. How do I make it work with flow code? I also have MPLAB on the computer I am using.

Ben I have gotten the PWM to work, I also had my students breadboard the L293 and that work great. I worte a program that was to make the motor move in the clockwise direction and if a switch was press then the motors would stop. I did this in marcos. I trun on two outputs to go forward in the macro...

I have tried to down load the motor control zip file and my computer gives me and error, that the file is bad or corrupted.

Thanks for the input. Should I be able to see this output of CCPx as a waveform on a scope? Also when I run a sim should the pins that match the CCPx light up a LED on the screen?

Ok, I have read a lot of post, seached the internet and even read a book, and I still am not sure how to set flowcode to controls motors. I really do not know which outputs go to what on the motors or if the pwm have any output or what. I guess I need some on the basic understanding of the pwm works...

Ok I got the programmer to see the 18F2331 and was able to down load to the chip, but the program does not seem to be running. Is there something else I need to do to set the outputs or is flowcode doing that for me? All I am trying to is turn on a light Also I changed to a 18F2321 and we are back t...

Well i Got the programmer to work. I place 5V at pin 7 and it worked!

I try thr pin 7 to 5v, no go, but the message I am getting is program failed <1, 3>
What does this mean?
Also the EB006-7 saw the 2321 but not the 06 version, is there an update?

Ok, I am using PPPV3 and trying to program at 18F2321. The Programmer does not "autodetect" the chip which is on the board. I have the lasted drivers. My Systems sees the programer and I can send files to but the chip will not program. Also the programming will erase the chip, or read the ...
