Hi all,
Having a bit of an issue, i have been using my old eblocks EB006 for years and invested a lot of money in the boards, I recently discovered that it cannot program the newer pics (16F18877) which is fair enough as it is old so i have bought a new programmer BL0080 and 5 adaptor boards BL0119 so i can use my old boards.
I have just received these only to discover the board has been laid out in such a way that you cannot use the adaptor boards in adjoining ports, why would you do that, why is there not a warning on your website and do you have a workaround as I cannot see any extension cables on your shop.
More than slightly miffed and itching to continue with my project.
Ben

What about using a BL0156 Splitter board?

Hello,
Sorry to hear of the problems you are having. We took a lot of time deciding on the new layout for the EB2 boards and there was always going to be downsides with reducing the size but it needed to happen.
I would recommend IDC type extension cables, either via Matrix or you can buy and make your own.

Hi Benj,
IDC cables would be an option and i have some but that isn't the problem, i can't actually plug two of the BL0119 modules in to the BL0080 board side by side as the spacing is 3mm too short!
Do you sell/supply the Harting connector that eblocks2 boards use made up into a short cable so i can move the boards away a bit.

Thanks
