RC5 E-block as transceiver

Post by JohnCrow »

I have been trying a few experiments with the RC5 boards

I have one system set up as a transceiver
This will read a value from a RC5 handset, do a simple calculation on it, introduce a short delay and then re-transmit it to a second system.

I find the only way I can get this to work is to disable the RC5 receive, after receiving the data and the enable the RC5 transmit.
Then after the data is transmitted, disable the transmit and re-enable receive.

Does the board only allow one option to be enable at once or is it a bug.
The program itself is not critical, just a test program
