Time based active Switch

Hello
please help me to complete my project,
I am using Flow Code 4.5, my project is based on time based activity.
this includes
- A programmer ( we can say A) device includes
- PIC18F452/877A , 12Mhz, Rs232, LCD, keyboard( self design based on D port for selection of Time units 000.00 ).
I designed this program in flow code 4.5.
- Timer Device(we can Say B) include
- PIC16F628A, internal osc, EEPROM, relay for time based operation

this project is based on a flexible timer(B) which is programmed via programmer (A) for a specific time, when we power
up timer(B) it operate after specified time as programmed in device.

the programmer when connected send via Rs232 a time value range from 000.00 to 199.99 as string[6].
now I am facing problem how to store this string in timer device (b). When we switch on Timer device (B) it will read
values from EEPROM and provide a delay for RA3 to high which runs a melody for reader.

we start this one from receiving string value 199.99 in target device and save in EEPROM.
