Low Voltage ICD

Hi

Is there any way of driving the E006 ICD function at a lower than the 5v supply voltage, I'm trying to debug an SPI comm to a functional chip with a voltage limit of 3.3v on the SPI pins, the MCU i'm using is a PIC18LF2550 which will operate at 3.3v and I'm pretty sure it's possible with the pickit2.

can the E006 be made to do the same?

Hello Gary,

At the moment the ICD pins and programming pins are set to 5V.

You can modify this voltage down to 3V3 by using a inline resistor and a 3V3 zener diode on both the programming or ICD pins. I think the programming and ICD functionality should still work with the reduced voltages but I don't think it's ever actually been physically tested.
