Need more space 631

There is a way to fit my soft in an 16F631? In the present I use 16F690 for that but I have a lot of 631 and I want to use it.
I need only a few more bytes:
It is an simple IR volume control for a motorized Alps potentiometer.
In the RC5 component if I delete all about the TX is an solution? I use only RX for that project. Or what is the best solution?
