Has the ZigBee Module a ROM?

Hello:

I'm reading the ZigBee XBEE module's documentation and talks about a "non-volatile memory" but anywhere refers it explicity.
How much is this ROM? Would be this ROM use plus with PIC's ROM?

Thanks you very much
Regards.

The XBEE modules have the software implementing the ZIGBEE stack stored in the ROM on the modules. This ROM is not available for other usage. Only the XBEE module can use it.

Hello,

An SD card is a good option if you do not need blistering speed. Otherwise these devices from Microchip are pretty handy and cheap (23LC1024) but will loose their contents if power is removed.
