Hi,
Im using a MIAC system on FC5. If I make a sub-routine, and within that routine I try to read an input on a slave module during simulation, then FC5 crashes (I get a Programme Error message saying FC5 needs to close). Is this a known bug or am I doing something wrong? If I use the same code but the inputs are on the master, then everything works OK (but Ive run out of I/O on the master).
Regards
Chris

Re: MIAC slave IO crash?
Hi Chris,
There should be nothing wrong in your described scenario.
As usual, I guess it comes down to exact detail and other factors.
If you cannot post the program, is it something you could demonstrate with a minimum of code?
Or PM the code?
Thanks
Leigh

Re: MIAC slave IO crash?
Hi Chris,
We have confirmed that there is indeed a bug with the Digital Input macro when running simulation.
We will endeavour to fix this, but cannot currently say when this will be.
Just to note that the MIAC Slave does not simulate, but it should not crash the program.
Thanks and regards,
Leigh
