I am thinking of bring my old EB006-00-6 development board out of retirement. I used to use MPLAB to compile Assembler and then download with PPP.

1) Where can I find the latest version of PPP ?
A number of versions not hosted by Matrixtsl seem to be infected with malware.
2) Has there been any integration with the latest MPLAB?

The latest version of PPP comes bundled with v4->v6 i dont think there are any major changes there. You can download the free version of v6 and take out the PPP installed there (just simply copy the PPP folder) to get the latest version.
