Strange problem wih RS232

Hello ,
I have a strange problem with RS232 communication , and I am using 2 Xbee for the communication , one connected with the PC and the second with the TX RX of the PIC .
well as showed in the attached picture , when transmit interval (XCTU) is 4000 ms , communication is fine , I send data and I get the response .
But when the transmit interval in the XCTU is 1000 ms , sometimes I have to send the data 3 or 4 times to get response .
I think that there is something wrong with the buffer , but I don't know what is it !
