I work in an educational institute and have a number of HP488 PIC Development boards one of which has developed a fault with the PPP Firmware chip.
I have confirmed the fault by swapping the firmware chip with a known good board.
Is it possible to get a replacement PPP Firmware chip or alternatively could I buy in a PIC 18F2455 and copy the program from a known good firmware chip to it?
