BLUETOOTH LOW ENERGY BLE HM-10

Post by tello »

Hi guys.
I'm testing a bluetooth module HM-10.
I have not managed to connect to my mobile android, it's very strange, with the manufacturer's software "HMComAssistant" immediately connected, but with other software such as "Bluetooth Terminal" does not allow me the connection, "Connection not available".
I searched for information on the forums and I have not found any information, anyone know anything about this topic ??

Thank you very much

Hello,

Bluetooth LE or Bluetooth 4 is very different from Bluetooth 2.

I have found that to access Bluetooth LE devices like the HM-10 you need specialist Bluetooth 4 enabled Apps.

HMComAssistant = BT4 App
Bluetooth Terminal = BT2 App

I got an app called something like LE terminal on Google play and that worked as expected with the HM-10.
