PIC_CAL_ADC.c (ADC_TYPE_34) ADC channels only go up to 24 whereas 16F18875 has got 34 ADC channels.

did a quick test tonight - looks like its working

reading AN32 as a string ok 0 - 5 volts

That's good as I was hoping I could work out was the issue in the end.
