is there a way please to change and view the bytes in the console for the serial_eeprom i can do this and see the data from eeprom1 but nothing for serial_eeprom i'm sure this was possible in previous version to 7 in simulation.

Which specific serial EEPROM component are you using?

It's not as simple as it seems as ideally values would get saved into the Flowcode project so they are persistent when you close and reopen a project. To have values reset between Flowcode runs should be fairly straightforward but there is also the matter if initialising values. I'll have a think on it.
