Possible bug (or just me)

I'm trying out V8 (very nice) but I've come across a bit of weirdness which may be a bug or it might be me.
I’ve applied Benj’s most excellent suggestion ( http://www.flowcode.co.uk/mmforums/viewt ... 346#p78346 ) to default to a SMT view of the chip instead of a DIL. Works brilliantly in V7 but when I try the same to V8 it doesn’t seem to work. I edited the file resident in C:\Program Files (x86)\Flowcode v8\DefaultData\FlowcodeV8\FCD\PIC and I even tried a simple copy ‘n’ paste of the file that works in V7 but every attempt results in a DIL view in chip view and not the SMT.
I’ve tried changing the chip in my present project and then re-applied the original chip just in case there’s some clever caching going on but no.
Suggestions if I’m missing a trick or maybe a bug????
