I'm using a development board for stm32 (like this one in link https://www.ebay.it/itm/STM32F407VET6-S ... 2862143187 ) that mounts a 16MB W25Q16 flash memory, but in FC8 the size does not include 16MB ( see screenshot), is this a bug or am I using the wrong memory?

Thanks for letting us know. I'll have a look for you and see if we can add it to the options.

I've now added the 16Mb option and pushed the new version of the component to the update system.
