Problems of columns with LCD display

Hi all
I have a problem with lcd displays (any lcd), if I select more than 10 columns, the display appears as attached photo.
I can't understand why. Is there anyone who has the same problem?

I solved
In options, applications, graphics engine I had selected "open GL software".
By selecting "open GL hardware", everything works :D :D
