Hi Ben
We only supply the EB005 with a 16 x 2 character LCD. For larger LCDs you should be able to buy direct from say Rapid or Farnell and make up your own E-Block using a 9-way D-Type and some veroboard. If you beleive that we should be supplying an option of a larger LCD then please let us know.

You should not feel obligated by me

.
I'm a student bachelor in my first year and we learn the "basics"(more the logic ways to program) on E-blocks with flowcode, now I only had 1 assignment where i had enough with the 2x16 LCD board, I think it would be good to sell the 4x20 because this gives you the option when we would learn on it to only use the 2x16 but have the option too use the full LCD. I'm not in to the electronics so i'm guessing I'll open another topic if i don't find one on this subject. But where to place it

.
Thanks for the quick respons Benj
Greetings
Ben

Hello
If you look at the wiring connections for the EB005 as shown in the datasheet on the main datasheets page then the 4 x 20 LCD will connect up to a microcontroller in exactly the same way. You should only need a couple of resistors and a pot to support the LCD module. You should be able to source the 4 x 20 LCD from companies such as Rapid or Farnell. Simply look for Alphanumeric LCD and you should find what you need.

4x40 displays will work in a totally different way and are not (currently) supported by Flowcode.
