Hello everyone!!!!
I am new to flowcode programming..I m using 16F877A and 16F88 microcontroller.
To do a simple program of lighting of LED's i have Created a new flowchart, specifying the microcontroller that I wish to target. I have Run the simulation to check that the application behaves as expected or not and it is working fine. Now ehenever i m Transferring the application to the microcontroller by compiling the flowchart to C, then to assembler code and finally to object code , it is giving the following error- "Could not ID the onboard chip-assuming it is one specified in the configuration screen".
Now in the troubleshooting guide of dis prob there are sum steps given to erase the microcontroller, but whenever i m following those steps , it again gives the same error message.

can ne1 plss tell me where i m going wrong and wat could be the possible reason and how it could be troubleshooted??
Plss help me as i m new to this programming..THank you very much in avance!!!

What hardware are you using?

Well i m using-E-blocks....EB-006 Multiprogrammer board, EB-004 LED Board, PIC16F877A microcontroller, PSU of 13.5V and USB Cable.The Software i m using is Flowcode from matrixmultimedia....

Firstly ensure that you have only one target microcontroller plugged into your EB006 board. There should be the 28pin USB chip and your target chip only.

If you only have one device inserted then ensure it is the correct way in the socket. If the device is inserted correctly then you could try another device to see if the target is damaged.

i used only 1 target microcontroller at a time i.e. 16F877A, but wen it gave the error message i changed my microcontroller to 16F88 but the same error message again.hopefully i have insertd the chip in the correct way by looking in the manuals. And i have disabled the tick box saying allow windows to power down this device.but the same error message is popping again...
can it be possible that either of my board or my chip has blown up?plss help me!!!Thanks

Firstly which version of PPP are you using? We have had reports of older versions not working correctly so if you are using an older version then 3.9 is available from here.

How long have you had your board? It could be that the PPP chip or one of the mulitplexers has somehow become damaged. This seems unlikley for a new board though. Have you ever had the board working?
