Is there a way to change the input amplification gain of an analogue in port.
The problem I have is my source signal is only 0 to 1 volt.
I can do this by amplifying the signal with an op amp however if it can be done in the chip it will be more convenient.

An external op-amp would seem to be the best way to match your input voltage range to the sensitivity of the ADC.

Another option would be to configure the ADC to use an external reference voltage.
The data sheets indicate a minimum Vref of 3V if the chip is running from a supply voltage (Vdd) greater than 3V, down to 1.8V if the supply is less than 3V.
