Hello Wolfgang

It could be some kind of permissions problem. Check you have the correct read and write priviliges for your project directory.

I am running Windows 7 also and can run help files by opening the Windows.001 old folder from my previous Vista install. In here there is a Windows folder and in here there is the WinHLP32 file. If you drag a help file onto this version of the Windows help then the file will open correctly.

If you did not install windows help when you were running Vista then I dont think there is much you can do other then to use the XP. I have not tried this so if you make any progress please let me know.
