Corrupt Installation?

I seem to have a corrupt installation, resulting in a corrupt toolbar as shown attached, and failure to compile some programs to hex. The toolbar symbols are all wrong for the named LED etc. -Here I have added an LED to the panel and have got the Servo device shown.

My orginal installation worked fine. (downloaded in november2009) - Great Program & very impressed.
I upgraded this via a patch in January, and since then I've been unable to compile some hex files - even those of example files. Other files would compile, the compiler options were identical in each.
I un-installed flowcode and then installed 4.2. Hex compiling was no better, and the new toolbar issue arrived.
I have since repeated the uninstall, redownload and reinstall without success.

I am quite happy to reinstall from scratch - if you can tell mehow to get there.
Please can you help me to get back to using flowcode.
Thanks in advance,
David.

I'm not saying this will work, but try this:
Uninstall flowcode.
Only if you feel confidant:
Make sure you backup your registry
Run regedit
Delete FlowcodeV4 entry from
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\matrixmm\
make sure flowcode 4 directory is deleted if 32bit windows then look in C:\program files\Matrix Multimedia
Download latest version (4.2.3.58) then install.
If that don't work I will leave to the experts at Matrix to help you instead :P
Warning: Deleting wrong branches (other than Flowcode) can stop your PC form booting into windows. So please be careful.

Thanks Medelec. Thats sorted the installation - the icons now read true. The registry is not a place I often go, so knowing what to delete was very helpful.

I still had the problem with some files not compiling to hex. I've found the reason for that to that too.
-files stored on this PC compile without problem, those residing on a shared drive (over wireless network) do not.
The fix - I don't know, but at least I know how to get around it.

Many thanks for your help!
David.

Re: Not working over a shared drive, probably a path issue?
