Dear All:

I have a problem with my FlowCode VER 3.6,, I changed my work station some weeks a ago, It run using Windows 7, I used the program Installer, It install correctly the software (Showy?), but when I try to run the FC from desktop icon, the Installer box appear again and install it 34 timesΒ΅ before open FC, What Can I do?

Maybe uninstall and then try installing again by opening the CD and right clicking the flowcode installer .exe file (or the latest download from the website if it is a more up to date version) and selecting run as administrator. Hopefully this should fix your problem.

You may also have to right click the shortcut once you have installed Flowcode and again select run as administrator to allow your cd key and registration details to be entered into the registry correctly.

Let me know if you have any problems. I am running both v3 and v4 on Win 7 so it certainly is possible

I have had the same problem with flocode V4.2.
Only way I sorted it was to install new windows installer. for some reason, it gets corrupt, os when you run flowcode, it act like flowcode is being installed again. When cancel is selected, it tries to re-install (or reconfigure, cant remember 100% was a while ago) yet again....and again

For Windows 7 You will need 'Windows Installer 5.0'
for Vista and xp 'Windows Installer 4.5'

If that don't work, then it's a restore factory settings job, since If I remember right, system restore did not work.

where can I find Windows Installer 5.0'? Do you know?

Not sure where can download windows installer 5 from. When I had had same problem, I just did restore to factory settings. Once when it occurred with Vista, I reinstalled windows installer 4.5 which is readily available. It would be nice to know what causes this problem, difficult to report since if flowcode is working OK, its virtually impossible to make it go wrong in this way.

I just solved part of the problem, I reset the PC to original settings , the FC run well OK now, but FC request me to put registration code and user name each time when I try to open the software and both Code and User name have not stored into ? What Can I do?

Glad you have got it working.
That is one of the most annoying bugs, but I don't know if its the fault of windows installer of flowcode.

I did not think the non key storage issue applied to V3.6, only 4.2.
But just encase try this:
Even if you are administrator and have full access rights, run flowcode in admin mode.
Now enter the two codes. 1st code for type i..e professional etc.
Finally enter name and associated code.

After you have completed these steps, if was V4.2 will now have stored codes.
So fingers crossed for V3.6

From now there is no need to run in admin mode.
