The Datasheet for EB-006-00-6 states for ICD programming

"To use the In-Circuit Debugger, remove the power supply and the USB cable to the Multiprogrammer.
Then place the 3-way jumper link associated with J11-13 to the left hand side of the 3 x 3 header pins.
This is labelled ‘ICD2’. Then simply connect the ICD2 cable into the Multiprogrammer via socket J15 and
the user can then use the full functions of the MPLAB® ICD2 In-Circuit Debugger."

On my board it looks more like J12-14 for the 3 x 3 header. is this a miss print?

Does it get power from the ICD cable or do you put the power back after changing the links?

Hello,

Yes you are correct the jumper should be marked as J12 - J14. You will also need to re-power the board to allow the Microchip ICD to work with your target device.
