Using A2 Interupts on 14 pin Pics

Hi,
I have not been able to get the interupt which is on pin A2 on the 16F676 and 16F684 pics to work when set up the Interupt up it is still labeled as RB0 but there are no B ports on these Pics only A and C ports.
Is this a known bug and if so is there a fix or do I have to use another type of pic.
There is another rather anoying problem I am driving a seven segment display using six ouputs from port C and one from Port A,5 flow code will not allow me to do this.
I have got around it by using individual Leds to make up the display.

Thanks Adrian Anderson

Hi,

I just checked the 2 PICs (16F767 & 16F648) in flowcode and they both have a PORT B.
I don't see any RA2 interrupt ...

Btw, the 16F648 is an 18 pin microcontroller and the 16F767 a 28 pin microcontroller.

Haven't you made a mistake (wrong PIC, ...) ?

Hello,

Are you using Flowcode v3 or v4?

Hi,
Its version 4.3 which is an issue as the Univesity version is 4.0.0.53 so will not load any programs I write on my laptop.
Must have gone and jumbled up the numbers think I meant 16F684 and 16F676 they are both 14 pin Pics and do not have a B port as stated before sorry for the confusion.

Hello,

You may want to tell your University to update to the latest release. V4.0 had quite a large number of bugs that have been fixed in later versions.

The Port change interrupt is just named PORTB because on most chips this is where the interrupt is located. The interrupt code should work to activate your port change on the available port change interrupt enabled port. What happens when you enable the interrupt? Is it working on hardware?

Also since you are using Flowcode v4 please can you sign up for the flowcode 4v topic. You can do this by clicking help -> online resources from within Flowcode and then popping your forum username into the form provided.
