Matrix user forums

Hi!
Has there been any progress with the MIDI over USB custom component? I searched the forums for the topic but I only found some over year old posts. ( http://www.matrixmultimedia.com/mmforum ... t=midi+usb )
Custom component or tutorial for MIDI over USB communication in would be awesome. The USB.Org MIDI documentation goes way over my head.
And sorry for posting into wrong forum, I've been using Flowcode V4 licensed to our school and I don't know how to gain access to V4 board with educational license.

Sorry I got so far into the this and then had to drop it due to other commitments. I will have a dig around on my PC and see if I have the files still. I seem to remember getting to the end and then finding out that it didn't actually work the way Microchip were saying it did meaning it would be a much bigger job to try and solve.

Anything new on the MIDI component? I'm currently working on arduino and separate MIDI-USB converter but I'd still be interested in doing all this with just one chip (:
