Hi Ben,
I have just ordered the graphics lcd module and just wondered how to connect it to my ARM board.
in the documentation it says you should connect the display to the spi port however in the flowcode component it is configurable for any port.
do i just connect it to MOSI and SCK and select those pins in the component, the reset and chip select can be connected to any output pin.
Thanks
Andy Hill

Hello Andy.
First of all you will probably need the updated version of the component C file.
Pop this into your "Flowcode ARM v4/Components" directory.
Using with an EB031 board you will need to connect the E-block to PortC. Use the patch system and wire across the signals as shown below.
SDO - RB5
SDI - RB4
Clock - RB6
CS - RB3
Using with an ECIO ARM board you will need to connect the E-block to PortB. Use the patch system and wire across the signals as shown below.
SDO - RB5
SDI - RB7
Clock - RB4
CS - RB3
Also change the component connections so that DATA, Clock and CS are set to the appropriate PortB pin. The Reset pin is not used so you can map this to any unused I/O pin or leave disconnected.

Hi Ben,
another quick question, if i have the glcd connected to the spi lines will i still be able to connect the card reader board at the same time.
i realise that i will have two seperate chip select lines but i noticed on the card reader board you have two pull up resistors on the sdi and sdo lines.
many thanks

Hello Andy,
The FAT component bit bangs the SPI bus by default so you should be able to use any free I/O in the component connections and the board should work correctly.
