External reset for the ECIO40

Post by Electron »

I want to be able to externally reset an ECIO40 with a switch. Pin 3 of the ECIO40 is labelled RESET. What voltage and/or circuitry do I need to add?

Hello,

You can simply add a switch between pin 3 and ground.

If you want to reduce the switch's contact bounce (not mandatory) then you can also fit a ceramic capacitor across the switch.
