I had not this problem in simulation before the upgrade. Buttons and switches had instantly response when pressed. After the upgrade to v4.5, they remain inactive for 2 - 3 sec. Try please the attached fcf.
Please advise me

Re: Simulator problem after FCv 4.5 upgrade
Hello Fotios,
Changing the simulation speed to as fast as possible in the View -> Project options menu seems to help in speeding the switch components up again.

Re: Simulator problem after FCv 4.5 upgrade
I already tried in full speed many times (i did the upgrade from yesterday the night) but the problem still exists. When a button is pressed (not in all instances) i have to wait for a while - say 3-4 sec - for the same or another button or switch to be available for activation. I also have glitches in steps - i.e. jumps from e.g. 80 to 82 - that i had not with the previous version of FlowCode.

Re: Simulator problem after FCv 4.5 upgrade
Hello Ben
To be sure, I just uninstalled FC v4.5 and reinstalled the previous FC v4.3. Now everything is again working just fine in SIMULATOR. No dead time - of some seconds - in activation of switches, no glitches in program steps.
Best Regards
Fotios

Re: Simulator problem after FCv 4.5 upgrade
Hello Ben
Thanks for the reply. Since i don't want to cause - possibly - unreasonable research work to you, I should refer that this project although is properly working on SIMULATOR, in actual hardware (EB006 + LCD module + Switch board + LED board) presents hang-up when the MENU switch is pressed for 3rd time. I am trying it for 3 days on a P16F887. Yesterday i replaced the micro with a P18F4520 and the hang-up eliminated, the code is working properly with this micro ON ACTUAL HARDWARE. I have a suspicion - from the few things that i know about micros - that P16F887 presents a "Stack Overflow" in ACTUAL MODE due to its small proram memory. I don't know if this will help you in examining of problem of SIMULATOR.
Regards
Fotios

Re: Simulator problem after FCv 4.5 upgrade
I must apologize for the possible misunderstanding that I caused.
The problem was the inappropriate structure of my program - for micros with small stack depth like the PIC16Fxxx - and not the FlowCode simulator after the upgrade to v4.5.
The FCv4.5 simulator works correctly and better than the previous version by providing possible errors - of the type that I described above - on the actual hardware.
Thanks for the assistance to MatrixMultimedia tech team, and please accept my apologies.
