Can I minimize windows so I can see more at once.
such that I can see main and macro programs simultaneously.
and possibly move some of them onto screen No. 2

In "global options", you can turn off the TAB mode. This will display each macro in its own window.

In V5 you can also do this. But you can also set up "tab groups" to allow you to see multiple macros at the same time.

it was just what I wanted, unfortunately I can not move one of the windows onto the screen no.2
but then I just move panel, etc. to the second screen so it's ok
