Re: Flash Memory Not Verified
I need a PIC that has at least 3 PWM....that is compatible with the EB006. Any suggestions?
I don't have a PICkit.

Re: Flash Memory Not Verified
I downloaded and run the mloader ver 322. I get the same error. First it says "Attempting to detect chip...Unable to communicate with target: " Then later it says "Flash memory not verified - may be due to code protect"
Please see the configuration of the PIC.

Flash Memory Not Verified
Hello, I am trying to compile to PIC16F777 and PIC16F747 using EB-006 v.6 and also HP-488 v3. First it says "The chip could not be detected. Click 'OK' to use the specified chip (16F777)" Then I get an error "Flash memory not verified - may be due to code protect" I already confi...

mloader by Matrix has stopped working
About 2 weeks ago I tested my V6 to program a PIC16F877A. The short test program worked so I decided to make it the real program that I needed. Today, when I tried to program the PIC16F877A with the longer version, I got "mloader has stopped working" How do I get the mloader to work on a n...

Error when compiling V4 program on V6
Hello, I tried to open my v4 program on the V6. It simulates fine and looks like there's no problem. So, I saved it on V6 and compiled. I got the following error: Errors when generating C source code: LED B - with switch new test.c : 181 : error : Syntax error LED B - with switch new test.c : 191 : ...

Flowcode Patch error
I tried the patches Flowcode 6.02 and just today 6.03. Both of them gave a "decoding error=1" message and it doesn't continue. Any idea how I can update my V6?

Re: Component Label and Value
I know now! It was because I use "Speed" as a variable name and I guess the system doesn't allow me to use it as a PWM name. I just made the name "Speed1" and it worked!

Re: Component Label and Value
Actually I have two PWM and I was able to rename one of them but I couldn't change the other one. It just goes back to PWM1. I enjoyed the ADC Value appearing on the panel itself right under the ADC knob in Flowcode 4. It would be great to see it without having to look at another panel during simula...

Component Label and Value
Hello, Sorry if these might be stupid questions...I simply can't find how to label components. For example, I have a PWM component which I want to label SPEED. How is this possible? This also goes to ADC components or maybe switches. Another question is how do we make the value of ADC component appe...

Re: will not activate
Thanks for the encouragement!
Incidentally I checked the help menu and it says registered to 30day something. I tried to activate again and it still says the same thing after restarting flowcode.
When I click on licenses, it has an X on PIC16. I don't think it should be that way right?

Re: will not activate
Hi I just purchased Flowcode 6 yesterday and tried to activate and got this reply
Upon checking out the Flowcode Download site, I noticed the following statement
Please note Flowcode v6 purchasing is temporarily disabled while we fix some issues please check back again soon.
What should I do?

Re: Configure chip screen incomplete
Hello, Ok, I know now...it's not the screen resolution but the text size. My display text size was originally set to 125%. When I set it to normal the configure chip screen now looks normal. I understand now that Flowcode may have been meant for younger people who have very good eyesight and don't m...

Configure chip screen incomplete
Hello, Whenever I program my PIC using either HP-488 or EB-006 programmer board on Flowcode V5.4, I just use the USB connector. This means I have to enable "Low Voltage Program on the configure chip screen. When I click on Build>Project Options and click on "Configure chip" the screen...

Re: Pulse Width input
I made a crude program (attached) which needs some tweaking. To see if I am really able to read the PWM input, I send it back out to PWM output. Since I am using a 2MHz crystal, I set the PWM output to have a period of 8.192ms. I therefore count how long in 8ms is the pin on. For example, if it is o...

Re: Pulse Width input
I was about to work in this direction but I have another question. What if the pulse width is on 100% of the time, then it will never stop counting, right? or if the pulse is never on, then it will never start counting. How can this be worked out. I will still need the 0% or 100% pulses as informati...

Pulse Width input
How can we receive pulse width signal INPUT and measure it? I want to receive two pulse width signals and compare them. How can this be done in Flowcode? I am using PIC16F877A. I used to do this using the ADC components and comparing the two voltage inputs. My goal is to shift to Digital inputs inst...

Simulation is ok but actual application behaves differently
Hello, I have a program wherein i read ADC as integer potentiometer location and read target location ADC as integer (0-1023). I then get the distance between the two by comparing the potentio reading to the target (either Distance=target-reading or Distance=reading-target whichever is higher). If t...
