Problem with latest update
Hi,
after I updated through the online updater service, the updated files and components current revision "not genuine".
Also the modbusTCP slave component disappeared from the comms tab and is not function anymore in my project.
I did a clean install of flowcode and the problem remains.

Re: Problem with latest update
Hi George,
While waiting for the bug to be fixed, there is a workaround.
Take a look at this post & apply it to your target device.

Re: Problem with latest update
Hi Martin I already did that. It did not work.
Then I went ahead and reinstall with the installer I downloaded from inside my account. Problem remains.
The public installer download page does not work, returns an error when trying to download.
Thanks
George

Re: Problem with latest update
It may just be down to teething problems with the server update.
I'm confidant when Matrix staff read this, they will be on it.

Re: Problem with latest update
Thanks for letting us know. There was a big move over the weekend and it looks like some things are still missing.
Please bear with us while we correct anything, and also let us know if you find anything else wrong.

Steve.

Re: Problem with latest update
Hello
I have a different problem.
instead of the writing NOT GENUINE it seems that it has more updated versions than those present online!

Re: Problem with latest update
H Steve,
After a couple of reinstallations I have the same problem.
I also noticed that the modbusTCP slave component update was removed (it was actually making the component completely disappear from flowcode after updating).
Reverting back to previous versions does not work.
In any case modbus tcp and network component is not working any more neither on simulation or hardware. And there is no way I can revert.
I guess the only way around at the moment is to reinstall again and downgrade the component version( didn't try it yet but will do) as a workaround until the problem is fixed.
Please install a fresh copy of flowcode and do the full database update and you will see the results by yourself.
Thanks
George

Re: Problem with latest update
We're close to solving the issue. At the moment, the updater system is working, but any file downloaded from the online database is incorrectly flagged as "not genuine". The files should be ok once loaded. And we should get a fix for these downloads soon (so they show as "genuine").
