Opening V5 files in V8

Hello

This is my first post as I have just purchased Flowcode 8. Completely new to programming and Flowcode I have quite a few fcf demonstration files I would like to use for help and ideas however I cannot open them in my version Flowcode 8.2, is there something I am missing or do I have to convert them fist is this possible and how.

Hi Batter,
Welcome to the forums.
Sorry but v5 files are no longer supported in v8.
Perhaps you could at examples by searching with comonent key words on Wiki
Or within Flowcode, you can add a component to 2D or 3D panel, then on the panel select the component and right click & select Help.
There is information about the component and even demo flowcharts.

If there is a particular v5 file you are after then if you upload or post a link to it, there will be someone that will convert it for you.

Hi!

What I sometime do with succes is, import FC5 project in FC6 or FC7 and then opening in FC8. An make some correction If nessesary.

You are correct in what you are stating.
My comments are only assuming that as Battler is a new member.
So he/she only have access to V8.
Therefore will rely on other forum member's that have other versions to assist them.
