Conversion from flowcode v5 to v8

Post by agroinvent »

Hello My name is Dimitris and I am an owner of flowcode licenses version 5 and version 8. As version 8 is new to me all my projects are based on version 5. I would like any help on converting my older flowcode 5 projects to flowcode 8.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi Dimitris,
Welcome to the Matrix forums.
If you don't mind the code being public, then if you post flowcharts on here, I can see if convert them for you.

You can also do the conversion yourself using Flowcode 6 or 7.

Flowcode 7 is available to download here and should allow you to open a v5 .fcf project and save as the new .fcfx file format.

Hi Ben,
Thank you.
Did not know v7 is still available if not got V7 licence.
Only issue is after 30 trial and have to revert to free mode, there could be 'You do not have a valid license to perform this action'
messages
Best to convert all the V5 flowcharts within the 30 trial period, even if not planning on using them.
Flowcode will have to connect to the internet for the 30 day trial period to work.
