Greetings to you all. In your opinion there is a way to connect the encoder to the motor being simulated. I would like to drive an engine, eg. Complete bridge and read the axis displacement on the encoder.

We support this in the upcoming v9 but I don't think it's easy to do currently in v8 without a fair bit of fiddling.
