How can I know the frequency of oscillation of my RF receiver?

I bought an spectrum analyser from AAronia (http://www.spectran.com). I want to make RF receiver and transmitter (LC based). I am unable to isolate the receiver frequency from the other signals which are there in the air.
How can I know the frequency of oscillation my receiver?
Can someone help please
