Hello,
i have some problems with low voltage programming.
the 16f88 are i.o. to programm in LVP Mode.
A new 16F628A dosen't programmable in LVP Mode.
Always the message
"Could not ID the Onboard Chip assuming
it is the one spezified in the configuration screen, i.e. 16F628A"
is available.
So I erasure the PIC with the PPP Software,
but the function does not appear.
Can anybody help me?
regards
Andreas

The PGM signal is on RB4.
The jumper J16 must be jump on LVP Mode.

Re: Low Voltage programming
Hello Fresh
Another thing to be aware of is if you ever program a device with LVP disabled then you must use the high voltage (12V) programming method to restore the LVP config setting.
